These Software Licence Terms (“Terms”) explain how software licences purchased through Omega Keys (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may be used. They apply to all customers (“you”, “your”) who buy or activate software keys or digital licences from our website. By purchasing or using any software provided by Omega Keys, you agree to these Terms, our Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Why These Licence Terms Are Important
Software products are licensed, not sold. When you purchase a product from Omega Keys, you acquire a limited right to use the software according to the conditions of the licence granted by the publisher. These Terms define those rights and restrictions so that both parties understand the permitted scope of use and the limitations that protect intellectual property.
2. Licence Scope and Restrictions
2.1 General Scope
The licence allows you to install and use the software on the number of devices or for the number of users stated in the product description. The licence is strictly limited to the scope defined below for each category of software.
2.2 Microsoft Products
- Licence Type: Perpetual (lifetime) licence with no expiration date.
- Permitted Use: Personal or business use by the licence holder on one device or user account, unless otherwise stated.
- Restrictions: You may not share, sell, sublicense, rent, or distribute the activation key or software. Reverse engineering, modification, or circumvention of activation systems is prohibited.
- Geographical Scope: The licence is valid worldwide unless the product description limits it to a specific region.
2.3 General Prohibitions
- Do not reproduce, resell, or publicly distribute the software or keys.
- Do not use educational or personal licences for commercial or institutional purposes.
- Do not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or ownership notices.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All software sold by Omega Keys remains the intellectual property of its respective publisher. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software according to these Terms. Ownership of source code, algorithms, trade marks, and all related intellectual property remains with the original rights holder.
Where products contain third-party or open-source components, the relevant third-party licence terms apply in addition to these Terms. You must comply with all such conditions.
4. Support, Maintenance, and Updates
4.1 Microsoft Products
Perpetual Microsoft licences include all updates and security patches released for that specific edition (for example, Windows 10 Pro or Office 2021 Pro Plus). They do not include future version upgrades (e.g., Windows 10 → Windows 11) unless otherwise specified.
4.2 Omega Keys Support
We offer customer assistance for order-related and activation issues via email at contact@omegakeys.co.uk. We do not provide technical repair services or custom configuration support beyond product activation guidance.
5. Warranties and Limitations of Liability
- The software is provided as described in the product listing. We warrant that activation keys are genuine, valid, and functional at the time of delivery.
- We do not warrant that the software will be completely error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific technical requirements.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the licence.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including data loss, downtime, lost profits, or business interruption.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
6. Termination and Renewal
6.1 Microsoft Products
Perpetual licences do not expire. However, Omega Keys or the software publisher may revoke a licence if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive activity. Upon termination, you must uninstall the software and cease all use.
6.2 Termination for Breach
Omega Keys reserves the right to terminate licences immediately if these Terms are violated. In such cases, no refund is due, and you must delete all copies of the software and activation keys.
7. Data Protection and Confidentiality
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Any personal information collected during the purchase, activation, or support process is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order, managing your licence, and providing customer service.
We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data. We do not share personal information with any third party except when necessary to deliver the product (e.g., payment processors, software publishers) or as required by law. All confidential data is treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Other Important Clauses
- Audit Rights: Software publishers may verify compliance with licence restrictions (e.g., user limits or device counts) as permitted by law.
- Payment Terms: All payments must be completed at the time of purchase. Late or incomplete payments may result in licence deactivation.
- Third-Party Software: Where included, third-party components are subject to their own licence conditions. You must comply with any accompanying end-user licence agreements (EULAs).
- Assignment: You may not transfer or assign your licence to another person or entity without prior written consent from Omega Keys.
- Dispute Resolution: We aim to resolve all disputes amicably. If unresolved, disputes will be handled under the governing law clause below.

Omega Keys operates in full compliance with UK consumer law, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and digital content rules. We maintain transparency about licence duration, usage limitations, and refund eligibility to ensure compliance with Google Merchant Center and Kelkoo advertising standards. Our data-handling practices align with UK GDPR, and we regularly review our documentation to reflect regulatory updates.
10. Consequences of Breach or Missing Clauses
Failure to comply with these Terms may result in:
- Immediate termination of your licence without refund.
- Loss of access to updates or renewals.
- Potential legal action for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
Maintaining a valid licence and adhering to these conditions protects both you and Omega Keys from disputes, regulatory risks, and data-security issues.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
